Police investigators in Nassau County have issued an alert for a wanted man.
Rene Juarez Mejia, 33, was arrested last year and charged with second-degree aggravated DWI and is now wanted in Nassau County court.
Mejia was released following his processing and failed to appear for court proceedings, leading to a warrant for his arrest.
Investigators describe Mejia as a 5-foot-6, 220-pound Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes. It was noted that anyone who comes into contact with Mejia “should not attempt to apprehend or detain” him.
